On behalf of the Royal Green Jackets (Rifles) Museum Trust a huge thank you for so generously giving us your time last Thursday including the long return journey home.

I thought that your talk was absolutely fascinating and I know that was the view of others in the room. 

Before the event one might be forgiven for thinking that researching the history behind a medal was a bit of a 'black art' confined to specialists. However you were able to summarise the case histories clearly and bring them to life brilliantly with video and mapping that managed to convince us all that it was both achievable and potentially very rewarding.

Our huge thanks also for so generously becoming a life Friend of the museum. As a charity with limited MOD support the preservation and improvement of our collection is very reliant on the generosity of others. 

We are very grateful.
